We are not dependent on a specific SIP provider, because echo is directly integrated into Microsoft Teams.

echo is a Microsoft Teams app that is installed in your Microsoft 365 tenant. Additionally there is a desktop app which is used to show the caller data while the phone is ringing.
Are there any additional costs for using echo like a setup fee?
No, there are no additional costs for using echo. You only pay for the subscription.
Do I need the desktop client?
No, the desktop client is optional. The desktop client provides information about the caller before you accept the call.
